Hi guys, we really hope you’re all well despite all that is going on today regarding the Corona Virus and the severity it’s having on us globally. I just find our current situation surreal and so far, I have dealt with it the best way I can, staying calm and being positive. I have been keeping up-to-date with current affairs revolving around Covid-19 in-order to ensure that we stayed within Government guidelines.
I’m aware that many promoters made a conscious decision to cancel classes and events locally and some chose to continue as normal. Unfortunately, those that chose to continue have received a lot of negative criticism, publicly, from individuals demanding they follow suite. I hate bullying tactics and I don’t want anyone trying to force their opinions on me, I will however listen, take all the facts into consideration and make my own informed decision.
Despite all the crap being thrown around on Social media I had decided to continue running the classes if you, our customers, wanted them. I am aware from attendance, comments on Facebook, that some had made the choice to put Salsa on hold, ensuring that the risk to you and your families/loved ones was minimalized. I completely understand and respect the decision people had made, I simply chose to give people the option to continue classes if they wanted them.
Due to new recommendations from the Government today (Monday 16th March) I have now decided to cancel classes until further notice. For those that don’t know yet, the Government has advised “Everyone should avoid gatherings and crowded places, such as pubs, clubs and theatres”.
I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to you, just be safe and hopefully we will be back in the swing of things soon!
